Just finished working on a bike for the nice guys at REcykel, who are all about art, recycling and used bikes. This one is the first prototype, released at last Friday's live-paint event during Aalborgs anual culture night.

Exhibition in Copenhagen
I'll be participating the summer group show at Hans Alf Gallery with two paintings ("Jeg holder fast (når du taber hovedet)!" and "Min fugl er fløjet (og du kiggede bare på)!"). Show opening is june 18th from 17.00 to 21.00 hours at: Hans Alf Gallery, Flæsketorvet 26-28, 1711 København V.

Det er ingen kunst
Today I participated the launch of Region Nordjyllands new design manual. I was contacted by local advertising agency SHRPA some time ago, and asked if I'd be interested in doing a painting for the event, and it sounded like an interesting gig. It went realy well: three hours of live painting, lots of nice people who seemed genuinely interested in my work, and a client who realy liked their painting.

The event took place at Nordkraft, Aalborg's old power plant, which is just oozing with inspiration.
Cityscape opening
This november I participated the group show "Cityscape" at the Dray Walk Gallery in London. I had a lot of other stuff going on, so I couldn't attend the opening, but tonight I just got a couple of photos from the show.

We’ve been out there
This saturday, Morten and I opened our show at Galleri Jenzen, Aalborg. We've both been working like crazy for the last couple of months; several exhibitions on top of each other, graphic projects, photo sessions and day jobs, really had us stressed out, but once again - we pulled through! This being the last major show of the year, it was truly the culmination of the last couple of months, and I'm sure we'll both enjoy a couple of days without painting. We had a blast at the opening, and although people in this part of the country are pretty conservative, it seemed like they were all positively surprised. The show will be running untill december 2nd.

Putting together all the bits and pieces for the "Jeg savner Fredag!"-installation. (six-pack and snacks are a must!). People really seemed to enjoy this piece, which was great, as it is definitely one of my favourites!
I even had to bring not yet finished pieces to the hanging; I did finish it eventually, though.

Nordjysk Kunst NU
Yesterday the groupshow at Nordkraft's Kunsthal Nord opened in style: lots of people, nice walls and wine. The show will be running until december 21st, so if you're in any way into this whole art-thing, you should go check it out.

We’ve been out there
On saturday november 7th, the OSC-click chimps (yours truely and mr. Morten Andersen) will be opening our show at:
Galleri Jenzen, Danmarksgade 8, 9000 Aalborg.
Our stuff will be on the walls untill december 2nd. Come for the opening reception; there'll probably be free cheese and wine.
Groupshow, Nordkraft
As some of you may have noticed, I have been working on a larger painting for the last couple of weeks. I'll be bringing that piece ("Følg din egen melodi!") along with a smaller sculpture ("Jeg maler kun for at få fisse") to the groupshow at Nordkraft, Aalborg. The exhibition lasts untill december 21st, so if any of you are interested in this whole art-crap, I guess you should go.

Oh, my; woke up this morning at 8.00 (I had two hours until the guys at Nordkraft needed my pieces), and figured something was missing. Started running through my piles of junk (I like to put junk in large piles), and constructed a body for the "Jeg maler kun for at få fisse"-piece. Turned out pretty neat:

Circo Macabro
This thursday, I went to the "Poetry Slam 9000" event at Aalborgs experimental stage "Transformator", where I was involved in a huge mural-project last year. It was a fun project to be involved in, and I figures it would be fun to do a post about it!
Viva la France
Yeah, I know; usually blog-posts are supposed to be about something brand new, but hey - some times even old stuff makes fun reading. I just came across this old blog from late 2007. I had only been painting for about a year, when Morten and I where invited to Paris for an exhibition; needless to say we had a blast!
